Placebo confirmed for Arsenal Fest 2021!

The world-famous alternative rock band Placebo, known by hits such as “Every You Every Me”, “The Bitter End”, “Special Needs” i “Song To Say Goodbye” confirmed that they will perform at the Arsenal Festival, which will be held between the 24th and 26th of June 2021 in Kragujevac!

Placebo, consisting of vocalist-guitarist Brian Moloko, and bassist-guitarist Stefan Olsdal, recognizable for their androgynous styling and attitude, as well as their unique sound that blends pop, punk, gothic, grunge and glam rock, will perform on the Main Stage on 24 June as headliners of the 2021 Arsenal Fest, the slogan of which will be “Strong through music”.
The high-energy gypsy punk-rock band Gogol Bordello has also confirmed their participation for the first night of the Festival. On the 25th of June the Main Stage will host the balkan-ska-punk-reggae extravaganza Dubioza kolektiv in celebration of a special anniversary – ten years since their performance at the first Arsenal Fest in 2011. The pioneer of Balkan Beat, Djaikovski, will also perform on the second night of the Festival, while for the third and final night of the Festival – 26 June, the world famous guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen has also confirmed his performance on the Main Stage.
Great efforts have been invested to reschedule the entire lineup envisioned for Arsenal 10, which was posponed for reasons of the COVID-19 pandemic, for Arsenal 2021. However, due to scheduling conflicts, both Sum 41 and Still Corners will not be able to attend. In the coming weeks, Arsenal will gradually publish the many other Festival performers and acts. The Festival will take place at its traditional location, the historical open-space site “Knežev arsenal”, a 19th century ammunition factory located in the vicinity of the Kragujevac City center.

There will be a New Year’s discount period between 24 December and 14 January 2021, during which tickets for all three days of the 2021 Arsenal Fest will be sold at a price of 3,000 dinars via In Kragujevac, the tickets will be sold via Da Gama Travel and in the Music Store of the Kragujevac Youth Center. The tickets bought for Arsenal 10 will be valid for Arsenal 2021, and will be valid at the gates (i.e. do not require replacement). The ticket bought for 23 June, that is to say for the first night of Arsenal 10, will be valid for 24 June, i.e. the first night of Arsenal 2021.
