Kragujevac is a city that was the first in many aspects!<\/p>\n

The first gymnasium was founded and started operating in 1833, the first theater was established in 1835, and the Appellate Court was established in 1840, which was relocated to Belgrade in 1841.<\/p>\n

The Serbian newspapers were the first newspapers in the Principality of Serbia, under the editorship of Dimitrije Davidovic in Kragujevac. The first library was opened in 1838, and the first cannon in operation, which is now located within the “Zastava Arms” factory, was cast in 1853 at the Military Technical Institute in Kragujevac. In 1884, the first light bulb in the Balkans shone!<\/p>\n

That is precisely why this year’s Arsenal Fest will be marked by light and good music!<\/p>\n

From June 27th to 29th, we gather in the heart of Sumadija!<\/p>\n
