In the Art Gallery of the National Museum in Kragujevac, on June 16, the exhibition “Andy Warhol” will be opened as part of the accompanying program of the Arsenal Fest.<\/p>\n
The opening of the exhibition will be at 5:30 PM and it will last until July 1.<\/p>\n
Visitors will be able to see 40 well-chosen prints by Lazar Vujic, one of the most prominent European gallerists.<\/p>\n
Vujic met Warhol while working on graphic designs for the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo in 1984. Among the graphic solutions, he wanted to include Warhol’s work.<\/p>\n
“He was kind, calm, a great artist, a man who showed respect to every interlocutor. Warhol’s original idea for the Olympics was a ski jumper, but I preferred a skater and in the end, we decided on that motif,” Vujic said in one of the interviews.<\/em><\/p>\n Who was Andy Warhol?<\/strong><\/p>\n Andy Warhol was an American artist, painter, film director, and writer.
