Faithless at Arsenal Fest 2025!
The legendary British band Faithless is the first announced act for Arsenal Fest 2025, which will take place from June 26 to 28 at the Knezev Arsenal venue in Kragujevac. To the delight of numerous fans, the renowned group will perform a live concert, not just a DJ set, ensuring an unforgettable atmosphere during their appearance at the festival’s 15th anniversary edition.
Faithless returned to live performances in 2024 after an eight-year. They headlined three major festivals in the UK: Glastonbury, Wilderness, and Bestival. This marked their return to the stage following the death of their vocalist, lyricist, and DJ, Maxi Jazz, at the end of 2022.
“We miss Maxi every day, but we couldn’t and didn’t want to stop making music. During his long illness, we recorded the album ‘All Blessed’ and now, here we are, back on stage,” the band members recently stated.
Faithless was formed in 1995 by Rollo Armstrong, one of the main pioneers of the British house scene, and Sister Bliss, who gained a stellar reputation as a DJ. Their hits such as “Salva Mea,” “Insomnia,” “God Is a DJ,” and many others took the world by storm in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Since their debut album, “Reverence” (1996), Faithless has been regarded as one of the biggest electronic acts of the past 30 years.
An impressive 17 of their songs have made it to the UK Top 40, with six Top 10 albums, three of which reached the number one spot. Their enduring popularity among newer generations is evident, with their tracks amassing over a billion streams online. This year, the band will release their eighth album, “Champion Sound,” which has already been teased with singles “Find a Way” and “I’m Not Alone (Rest Well Maxwell).”
Faithless has a strong fan base in Serbia, as proven by their previous visits since 2004. Now, for the first time, they are coming to Kragujevac for Arsenal Fest, ready to share their joy of returning to the stage and embarking on a new chapter in their rich career with the audience in the heart of Sumadija.
Tickets for Arsenal Fest 2025 are still available at promotional prices. A three-day pass costs 3,900 dinars and can be purchased through the Tickets.rs network.
