The globally mega-popular band Massive Attack will perform on the first evening, June 26, at Arsenal Fest 2025 (June 26-28) on the Main Stage at the Knezev Arsenal in Kragujevac. This is a gift from Arsenal Fest to the audience in Kragujevac and Serbia for the festival’s 15 years of existence!

The British band, considered the pioneers of trip-hop, is the biggest international name to ever perform at the festival in the heart of Šumadija. This is confirmed, among other things, by the numerous awards the band has won throughout its multi-decade career. The most notable recognitions include a Brit Award for Best British Dance Act, two MTV European Music Awards, and two Q Awards.

Massive Attack was formed in Bristol in 1988 by current members Robert 3D Del Naja and Grantley Evan Marshall (known as Daddy G), as well as Adrian “Tricky” Thaws and Andrew “Mushroom” Vowles. Known for blending hip-hop and dub rhythms with soul melodies, they set new standards for the British music scene in the 1990s and influenced major bands like Radiohead, Portishead, and many others.

The debut album by Massive Attack, Blue Lines, was released in 1991, and the single “Unfinished Sympathy” reached the charts and frequently ranks high on lists of the greatest songs of all time. The albums Mezzanine (1998), featuring the single “Teardrop,” and 100th Window (2003) topped the British charts. Both Blue Lines and Mezzanine are included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

“Our current live show represents the deepest collaboration between 3D and UVA (United Visual Artists). We focus on the shattered dream of the confident, individual ‘self’ in the context of the global collapse of liberal democracy,” say the members of Massive Attack, who are also known for their social activism and environmental protection efforts.

Let us recall that it was previously announced that the 15th Arsenal Fest in Kragujevac will feature another legendary British band, Faithless, the world-famous folk metal stars from Mongolia, The Hu, the French crossover band La Femme, and a regional attraction, the Slovenian band Joker Out.

Single tickets for the first day of the festival (June 26) will go on sale starting Thursday, February 13, at 10:00 AM at all sales points and on the Tickets.rs website. Three-day festival passes are already available for sale at a price of 4,900 dinars and can be purchased HERE.
