The Mongolian folk-metal band The Hu is coming to Kragujevac, performing on the Main Stage on June 27.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

The band defines their style as Hunnu Rock, featuring eight members on stage. Their music is primarily based on traditional Mongolian instruments, such as the morin khuur and tovshuur (similar to the gusle and balalaika), combined with a heavier sound and throat-singing techniques.

They have released two albums, “The Gereg” (2019) and “Rumble of Thunder” (2022), along with several EPs. This year, they are beginning work on their next album.

Since 1995, The Hu has been among an exclusive group of just 39 “UNESCO Artists for Peace”.

They have performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella, Download, and Mad Cool.
