The pioneers of Irish sound in Serbia, Orthodox Celts, will perform on the final night of the festival, June 28, on the Garden Stage.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

A band from Belgrade that performs traditional Irish music combined with rock elements. They have played a significant role in popularizing this genre in Serbia and Southeastern Europe. The band was founded in 1992 and released their first album in 1994.

While their debut album consisted entirely of traditional Irish folk standards, starting with their second album, they began incorporating their own songs, written and composed in the same style.

All their lyrics are in English, but they have also composed several purely instrumental pieces. They traditionally celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a large concert in Belgrade.

They have released six studio albums: “Orthodox Celts” (1994), “The Celts Strike Again” (1996), “Green Roses” (1999), “A Moment Like The Longest Day” (2002), “One, Two 5” (2007), “Many Mouths Shut” (2017).
