Fakir is one of the founders of the club scene in Serbia. He became interested in disco music and DJing in the early ’80s, later discovering Detroit and Chicago house & acid house in the ’90s. He started organizing private underground parties for friends, and this wave quickly spread to other cities in Vojvodina. Since the very founding of EXIT, he has been an integral part of it, as well as in numerous clubs and festivals. Today, his house and deep house sets (which sometimes last up to 12 hours) have an energetic vibe that creates euphoria on the dance floor. He is a member of the famous band Noise Destruction, the founder of Wet Dreams, and recently involved in the HI FI speaker project with Sava Velikinca, called Fakir One. He is certainly one of the most respected Serbian DJs with a rich music repertoire and incredible experience that he willingly shares with emerging young talents.
