357 is a crossover band from Belgrade, founded in May 1996 by vocalist Nikola Hadži-Nikolić. Their music represents a unique fusion of various genres, including hard rock, ska, rap, punk, reggae, folk, and more, making them one of the first crossover bands in the region. The band’s name was inspired by the .357 Magnum revolver caliber.
They began their career performing at the club “Magnum”, where they played covers of well-known bands such as Rage Against the Machine, Faith No More, Nirvana, Primus, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their debut album, Pianissimo, was released in 1996. Despite facing challenges with its release, they managed to attract public attention with their energetic music and distinctive style.

In a 2022 interview, Nikola Hadži-Nikolić emphasized that 357 is not a project or forced rock and roll, but an identity.
