Autopark

Autopark is a Belgrade-based alternative rock band founded in 2000, known for combining guitar noise and pop melodies, with a strong influence of shoegaze and dream pop. Their music is often described as introspective and emotional, featuring lyrics that explore themes of everyday life and personal feelings.
History
The band was founded by Milan Jovanović (bass, guitar), Nenad Jevtić (keyboards), and Ognjenka Lakićević (vocals). Their first album, 10+1, was released in 2005 as an internet-only edition. The next album, Osećanja za poneti (Feelings To Go), came out in 2006 through Multimedia Records. The third album, Sve dalje (Further Away), was self-released in 2009, while the fourth, Autopakao (Autohell), was released in 2012 by Odličan Hrčak and the cultural institution Parobrod. After a long break, the band returned in 2025 with the album La Reunion, released by the Odličan Hrčak label.
Over the years, many musicians have been part of the band, including Milan Jovanović, Nenad Jevtić, and Vladimir Marković.
Performances and Significance
Autopark has performed as an opening act for bands like White Lies and Garbage, with their concerts known for an emotional atmosphere and strong connection with the audience. The band is also known for their tradition of releasing New Year’s singles every December 31st.
With over two decades on the scene, Autopark remains one of the most important representatives of Serbian alternative music, with a rich body of work and a loyal audience.
