The Hellfreaks is a Hungarian band formed in 2009 in Budapest. The group is known for their energetic blend of punk rock, psychobilly, and modern alternative metal, highlighted by the distinctive vocals of Shakey Sue and their intense stage presence.

The band quickly gained attention in the European underground scene thanks to explosive live performances and a unique genre fusion that combines punk energy with darker aesthetics and horror-themed imagery. Their early albums, including Hell, Sweet Hell and Circus of Shame, showcased a raw psychobilly and punk sound, while later releases demonstrated the band’s evolution toward a more modern alternative and metal style.
