Artan Lili

Artan Lili - Arsenal Fest 2026

Artan Lili is a Serbian alternative rock band from Belgrade, formed in 2013. The band began as an experimental trio consisting of Bojan Slačala (bass guitar and vocals), Marko Ajković (drums), and Tanja Novaković (vocals). It later evolved into its recognizable four-member lineup featuring Bojan Slačala, Romana Slačala, Marko Ajković, and Ivan Skopulović.

The band first attracted public attention with their single “Džoni”, released at the end of 2012. Their sound is a distinctive blend of alternative rock, noise pop, and post-punk, characterized by repetitive rhythms, minimalist arrangements, and powerful live performances.

Artan Lili became known for their innovative approach to releasing music—initially publishing songs individually as online singles before compiling them into albums. Their self-titled debut album, “Artan Lili”, was released in 2015 and featured hits such as “Najbolje što znam”, “Ako stanemo tu”, and “Sajko”. This was followed by “New Deal” (2018) and later “III”, further cementing the band’s status as one of the leading acts on the regional alternative music scene.

In 2019, the band received the inaugural Milan Mladenović Award for their song “D.E.P.R.A.”. The award is considered one of the most prestigious recognitions in the regional rock music scene.

Over more than a decade of activity, Artan Lili have performed hundreds of concerts across Serbia and the wider Balkan region, earning a reputation as one of the most active live bands of their generation. To mark their tenth anniversary, they organized a regional tour titled “Ten Years of Heavy Underground”, celebrating the milestone and reaffirming their position as one of the most important representatives of the contemporary alternative rock scene in the Balkans.
