Partibrejkers

Partibrejkers - Arsenal Fest 2026

Partibrejkers are one of the most important and influential rock bands from the former Yugoslavia, formed in the early 1980s in Belgrade. The band was founded by singer Zoran Kostić Cane and guitarist Nebojša Antonijević Anton, who remain the core members to this day.

Partibrejkers emerged during the rise of the new wave and alternative scene but quickly developed their own distinctive style, rooted in raw garage rock, blues, and punk energy. Their music is characterized by a minimalist approach, powerful riffs, and an authentic vocal delivery, while their lyrics often convey honest and direct messages about life, freedom, and personal attitude.

Their debut album Partibrejkers I (1985) laid the foundation for their sound and status on the local scene, while subsequent releases such as Partibrejkers II and Kiselo i slatko further cemented their reputation as one of the key rock bands in the region. Over the course of their career, they have released numerous albums and hits that have become part of the Balkan rock legacy.

Known for their energetic and uncompromising live performances, Partibrejkers have remained true to their authentic sound and philosophy for decades. Their longevity, consistency, and influence on generations of musicians and audiences have made them a cult band of the local rock scene and a symbol of honest, raw rock’n’roll.
