Bjesovi

Bjesovi will perform on the Garden Stage on the second day of the festival, June 27.
ABOUT THE PERFORMER
Formed in 1987, Bjesovi quickly drew attention with their unique lineup featuring two vocalists and their distinctive live performances.
They gained wider recognition after winning the Gitarijada festival in Zajecar in 1993, and since then, they have built a reputation as one of the most highly regarded bands in the region. Throughout their career, they have released six albums, navigating the realms of alternative rock and grunge, the latter being a major influence on their sound.
Their self-titled second album from 1994 remains a landmark release, followed by “Sve sto vidim i sve sto znam” (1997) and “Bolje ti” (2009).
The band was led by Zoran Marinkovic, whose powerful vocals and striking presence defined their sound. In the band’s second phase, after the year 2000, Marinkovic became the sole vocalist.

In addition to their victories at Gitarijada, the band has earned several prestigious accolades. They won the Radio 202 Award for Hit of the Year in 2009 with their song “Bolje ti.” The same song was later voted the third-best song of the 21st century in Serbia and the former Yugoslav region on Radio 202.
