Dejan Milicevic

Dejan Milicevic is one of the pioneers of the techno scene in Serbia, a DJ who has performed across four continents, a prolific producer with over 100 tracks to his name, and an artist who guarantees you’ll leave the dance floor with your feet dancing.
Dejan’s DJ journey began at the age of 15 in his hometown of Belgrade. During the tumultuous 1990s in Serbia, when acquiring records often meant traveling abroad, he and a small group of fellow DJs managed to cultivate a thriving techno scene.
Over his successful 20-year career, Dejan has graced the stages of major events worldwide, including Boiler Room, Tomorrowland (Belgium), ADE (Holland), Awakenings (Holland), Sonar Festival (Spain), Sonus Festival (Croatia), EXIT Festival (Serbia), Kazantip (Ukraine), Dance Valley (Holland), Monegros (Spain), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), MayDay Budapest (Hungary), Stay Up Festival Cagliari (Italy), Popkomm (Germany), JEMF Festival (Romania), and Lovefest (Serbia). He has also played at renowned European clubs such as Tresor and Magdalena in Berlin (Germany), Raw 14 and Florida 135 (Spain), Fabrik in Madrid (Spain), The Egg in London (UK), and Glow in Bangkok (Thailand), Circuito (Brazil), Dom im Berg Graz (Austria), Warehouse (Malta), Living Room (Switzerland), Database (RO), Hristo Botev (Bulgaria), among many others but also he just made his debut in Africa, playing few gigs in Zanzibar.

For five years, Dejan served as a music ambassador for Burn energy drink, conducting lectures on Burn Audio Tool software and sharing his insights with aspiring musicians. Beyond his versatility as a DJ, Dejan has built a well-respected career as a music producer, with over 100 releases on renowned labels such as Plastic City, Suara, Liebe Detail, Night Light, Abyss, Factomania, Naked Lunch, Recycled Loops, Jesus Loved You, Orion Musik and more, showcasing his mastery of music production.
He has released four studio albums. His debut album, “Trust and the Purpose,” came out in 2011 on Gillesku Records and sold out all vinyl copies in just five days. His second album, “Just Keep Talking Girl,” followed in 2012 on the Plastic City label and received an enthusiastic response from fans. In 2017, his third album, “Summation,” was released on the respected Berlin-based label Plastic City, and in 2020, he launched his fourth studio album, “Digging For The Good Stuff,” on his own label, Tit Zero Recordings.
In 2014, Dejan launched his own vinyl-digital label, Tit Zero Recordings (Tit0), debuting with an EP featuring the legendary DJ Rush on vocals. Since then, the label has released 15 projects and has become one of the most influential music labels in the region, promoting emerging producers from the former Yugoslavia.
In 2018, Dejan Milicevic and Marko Nastic revived their collaborative project, TTP 2.0, which initially began as the Teenage Techno Punks collective from 1996 to 2002. This new incarnation offers a unique take on the techno scene in Serbia and the surrounding region.
Dejan’s career is marked by numerous accolades and achievements. In 2005, he showcased his talent at the Belef – Belgrade Summer Festival, performing alongside the esteemed Dušan Skovran and the Belgrade String Orchestra. His international presence grew significantly in 2009 when he showcased his work at the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Most recently, in 2021, he won the Best Album Award at the Ambassador Awards, presented by Klubska scena, a Croatian media platform for electronic music, further solidifying his status as a luminary in the music industry. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Dejan has composed music for two films: “After The Winter” (2021) by Ivan Bakrac and “Fitness Jim” (2022) by Ognjen Isailovic.
