The globally renowned band Massive Attack will perform on June 26 on the Main Stage of Arsenal Fest 2025.


ABOUT THE PERFORMER

Massive Attack was formed in Bristol in 1988 by current members Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grantley Evan Marshall, known as Daddy G, along with Adrian “Tricky” Thaws and Andrew “Mushroom” Vowles. Known for blending hip-hop and dub rhythms with soul melodies, they set new standards for the British music scene in the 1990s and influenced major bands like Radiohead, Portishead, and many others.

The band has won numerous awards, including the Brit Award for Best British Dance Act, two MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Q Awards.

Massive Attack’s debut album, Blue Lines, was released in 1991, with the single Unfinished Sympathy reaching the charts and frequently ranking high on lists of the greatest songs of all time.

Their albums Mezzanine (1998), featuring the hit single Teardrop, and 100th Window (2003) both topped the UK charts. Blue Lines and Mezzanine are also included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
