Oxajo is a Belgrade-based alternative rock band that emerged on the regional music scene in early 2023. The band consists of experienced musicians Dušan Strajnić, known as the frontman of Stray Dogg, Marko Ajković from the band Artan Lili, and Dario Vuksanović from the band Savana.

The band was formed spontaneously as a creative collaboration between three musicians who had already established notable careers on the regional music scene. Their first single, Put, was released in 2023 and quickly attracted the attention of both audiences and critics, winning second place at the Milan Mladenović Award.

This was soon followed by the singles Sijam and Moje vreme, which further strengthened their reputation as one of the most exciting new bands on the local scene. The song “Sijam” was named Hit of the Year by Radio Beograd 202, while “Moje vreme” received the Song of the Year award in the music TV show Bunt.

The band gained wider popularity through their performance in the final of Pesma za Evroviziju with the song MaMa, introducing their music to a broad television audience.

Oxajo is known for an authentic sound that blends alternative rock, modern pop, and indie aesthetics, combined with a strong songwriting identity and emotional lyrics. Although still a relatively new band, they have quickly built a loyal fan base and a recognizable musical identity, confirming that the new generation of the regional rock scene brings fresh energy and creativity.
