Sajsi MC is coming to the Garden Stage on June 27.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

Sajsi’s first public performance, marking the beginning of her career, took place in 2002 at a rap festival in Barutana, where Bad Copy, Prti Bee Gee, and V.I.P. also performed. Following this performance, Ivana formed the band Sajsi. The band gradually expanded, with the last member to join being Ivana’s sister, Tijana.

By 2009, the band Sajsi had recorded several songs, including “Vozi me”, and released the album “Misi naci naas”. However, the band soon disbanded, and Ivana pursued a solo career, releasing the album “Daleko je Dizni” (2010).

Her collaboration with Damjan Eltech in 2011 resulted in the song “Mama”, which sparked controversy due to its theme.

In 2012, Sajsi MC worked with DJ B.k.o. and the group Leskovac za klosare (L2K), producing the single “Dzesika” and the mini-album “KNVK”, featuring tracks like “Ulazim u disko” and “Antifa kucke”.

Sajsi continued performing actively, releasing new songs such as “Sa devojkom u soping mol” and “Ti si moj”, as well as the EP “Pokvarenica” in 2014, which included tracks like “Nadrkano hodanje” and “8 ujutru”.

In 2022, she released the album “Kardinalna”, followed by “Mater” in 2024.
