Nouvelle Vague ENG

The famous French band Nouvelle Vague will be performing on the Main Stage of Arsenal Fest 2024.

The festival takes place at the Kragujevac Knezev Arsenal from June 27th to 29th, with Nouvelle Vague’s set happening on the second night, June 28th. Formed in 2003, the band’s name translates to “New Wave” in English, and they’re well-known for their atmospheric summery renditions of classic hits. Serbian audiences have loved them at past concerts, and now festivalgoers in the heart of Šumadija can get ready to indulge in their signature style with smooth covers of songs like “Girls On Film” (Duran Duran), “People Are People” (Depeche Mode), “Only You” (Yazoo), and “Shout” (Tears For Fears).

Norwegian artist Sivert Høyem joins the rich lineup of international stars at the 14th Arsenal Fest, performing on the Garden stage on June 29th. Formerly the vocalist for the alternative rock band Madrugada, Høyem embarked on a solo career after the band’s disbandment in 2007. His Kragujevac performance will be part of his tour promoting his album “On an Island,” released at the end of January.

The Main Stage will roar on the opening night, June 27th, with the voice of Zoran Kostic Cane and the powerful riffs of Nebojsa Antonijevic Anton, as Partibrejkers return to Arsenal. A different kind of energy will hit the same stage a day later, June 28th, with the Miami rapper Lil Pump, best known for his song “Gucci Gang” which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2017.

The increasingly popular and genre-bending band Keni nije mrtav from Krusevac is coming to Garden Stage on June 27th, Jarboli, celebrating 25 years since the release of their album “Dobrodosli,” and Zagreb’s Svemirko. Controversial singer Mimi Mercedez will rock Zastava Garden on June 28th.

As a reminder, Keanu Reeves will be coming to Kragujevac on the first night of the festival with his band Dogstar, alongside Asian Dub Foundation. Zdravko Colic will be performing with a symphony orchestra on June 29th, sharing the stage with the British band Circa Waves and punk rock veterans Goblini. Also confirmed are appearances by bass guitar legend Nick West, along with some popular regional names like Letu stuke, Vojko V, and Ritam nereda.

Individual tickets for Arsenal Fest 2024 cost 2,500 dinars, while a full festival pass for all three nights is 5,000 dinars. Tickets can be purchased on the Tickets.rs website and at all their sales locations.
