Kragujevac is gearing up for another phenomenal edition of Arsenal Fest, all in the spirit of good music and light, echoing the first light bulb that illuminated the space of today’s Caurnica 140 years ago, the very spot where the Explosive DJ stage has been located for years at Arsenal Fest.

This year’s line up consists of a vast number of the most sought-after DJs from the country and region who need no introduction, as their names alone are synonymous with an unforgettable experience: Petar Dundov, Kristijan Molnar, Luton , Nexie, Wise D&Kobe, Nemax, Tijanmara, Tijana Kabic, Mancha&Mark Panic together with local residents: Petrovitz YU, Marco White, Goranche, Sale Jankovic, Hunckie .

We’re adding two more international names to the Line Up who will be performing at the Explosive DJ stage: the famous German DJ and producer Ian Pooley, and the Italian DJ and producer Musumeci.

Ian Pooley – “Low key, high quality”: These are the words that best sum him up.

He’s been part of the underground scene almost since house music arrived in Europe, and Pooley says he can’t remember a time without music, since he basically grew up as a DJ and producer.

From his earliest days in Mainz, it was the sounds of Chicago and Detroit that captured his attention.

His albums “Meridian” and “Since Then” have become a watermark for house music, and he’s one of the few artists to remix Daft Punk (1997’s “Burnin'”). He’s released on labels from Innervisions to Rekids, but now primarily releases on his own imprint, Pooledmusic. A highly respected DJ, Pooley has played at a vast list of major clubs and festivals, from Berlin’s Panorama Bar to Glastonbury Festival, along with multiple tours across North and South America, Asia, Canada, and Australia.

Musumeci – A Sicilian DJ and producer active in music since the late 80s. His album “The Gemini Project,” released on his own label “Engrave Ltd,” propelled him onto the international electronic scene.

In 2015, he reached number one on the Beatport Electronic Music Chart twice: with a remix of Patrick Sharkey’s classic “All I Got” on Connaisseur Recordings, and with the Musumeci & Lehar remix of the Ost & Kjex anthem “Easy,” released on Diynamic Music.

In 2016, he debuted with his side project Human Machine, delivering two EPs (“146 for Connaisseur Recordings” and “The Mule” for Exit Strategy label) as well as the song “Africa” for Diynamic Music.

All these tracks are among the 100 most listened to tracks of the year according to Resident Advisor.
