Lavina is a Serbian progressive metal band formed in 2020 in Niš, which in a short time has established itself as one of the most exciting new names on the local and regional metal scene.
The band consists of six members, and their sound is defined by a blend of modern progressive metal, atmospheric elements, and strong melodic lines. Their music combines technical precision with emotional expression, creating dynamic compositions that balance heaviness and melody.
They made their first major breakthrough with their debut album Odyssey (2022), which attracted attention from both audiences and critics. They continued to develop their sound with singles such as In Your Absence and Iron Will, further solidifying their position on the scene.
They gained wider recognition through performances at festivals and concerts across Serbia and Europe, standing out particularly for their energetic live shows and visually striking stage identity.
A major milestone in their career came in 2026 when they won the Pesma za Evroviziju with the song Kraj mene, earning the opportunity to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
With an authentic approach, modern sound, and powerful energy, Lavina is today considered one of the most promising bands of the new generation of the regional metal scene.
