Concrete Sun is a Serbian metal band formed in 2007 in Novi Sad, known for making a mark on the regional and European underground scene with their unique blend of sludge, stoner, and grunge sound.

Their musical style is characterized by heavy, groove-driven riffs, bluesy melodies, and powerful vocals, with a sound the band often describes as a fusion of “southern stoner grunge” aesthetics.

They achieved their first major breakthrough with their debut album Sky Is High (2011), which received positive reviews and positioned them on the international underground scene. Their second release, Eight (2014), further developed their sound and confirmed their artistic identity through stronger rock and grunge elements.

Throughout their career, Concrete Sun has performed at major festivals such as Exit Festival and Sziget Festival, as well as at numerous concerts across the region and Europe, earning a reputation as an energetic and authentic live band.

After a period of hiatus and lineup changes, the band continued its work, maintaining its distinctive sound and status as one of the notable names on the Serbian metal scene.

With a strong artistic identity and influences from various heavy music directions, Concrete Sun remains an important representative of the modern Serbian metal and stoner scene.
