Negative

Negative - Arsenal Fest 2026

Negative is a Serbian rock band formed in 1999 in Belgrade. The band was founded by guitarist and songwriter Vladimir Kolarić and singer Ivana Peters, who soon became the recognizable face and voice of the group.

Negative quickly attracted public attention with their energetic rock sound, Ivana Peters’ powerful vocals, and emotional lyrics that often deal with themes of love, personal reflection, and contemporary life. Their music blends elements of pop rock, alternative rock, and modern production influences.

The band gained wider popularity in the early 2000s with hit songs such as Ja bih te sanjala, Svet tuge, Tango, and Nesanica, which became major radio hits and helped define the domestic pop-rock scene of that period.

Throughout their career, Negative has released several studio albums and performed at numerous festivals and concerts across the region. The band is known for powerful live performances and emotional interpretations of their songs, which have earned them a loyal audience for more than two decades.

Today, Negative is considered one of the important bands of the domestic pop-rock scene, recognized for Ivana Peters’ distinctive vocals, strong melodies, and a songwriting approach that marked the regional music scene in the early 2000s.
